A small team of handball enthusiasts who got tired of watching coaches waste hours on WhatsApp and Excel instead of developing players.
HandLit was born out of frustration. Coaches spending hours on WhatsApp, Excel sheets, and paper printouts instead of developing players. Attendance tracked by a volunteer who quits every two years. Match data written in a notebook and lost before the next session.
We set out to fix that — building a platform that puts the numbers in front of players automatically, so coaches can focus on what they were hired to do: coach.
The idea started in Lithuania, where handball is more than a sport — it's part of the national sports culture. We've watched clubs at every level struggle with the same administrative chaos, and we knew there had to be a better way.
So we built it. From scratch. Specifically for handball — not a generic sports app with handball as an afterthought.
HandLit development started after one too many Excel sheets crashed during a training session.

Our mission is to give every handball club — from youth academies to professional teams — the tools that used to only exist in elite football.
